Oradea’s New Waterfront

The masterplan for the new waterfront focuses on reorganizing the limits of the urban square and the waterfront  in order to ease the soft mobility flows, opening up the square towards the water in order to enhance the quality of life for Oradea’s citizens and folowing the topographical features so to create a connected and flexible public space.

The proposal includes key-spaces such as: an open air amphitheatre connecting the waterfront to the city, a public news agents that is also a mirror landmark, a bistro bar and a community space that doubles as a public debates and exhibitions center.
