Nod Makerspace

Nod Makerspace is a community that offers support to design start-up and young desingers. The project makes the best out of the existant former industrial space. Large windows and transparent divisions were needed to bring the natural light inside the varied workshops and workspaces. Keeping the industrial character of the space was a challenge: the touch of natural birch plywood, soft textiles and plenty of plants assures a complete and enjoyable work environment for the creative users.

The team of makers were actively involved in aiding the design and production of the makerspace, making it a community-oriented project. A large part of the furniture, light fixtures and signage was custom designed and produced in-house.
